Nend.io

Nend.io is a multiplayer pixel city life simulator that blends work, scavenging, and social play in an open sandbox world. Players start with almost nothing and must earn money, manage basic needs, and invest in property and skills to survive and prosper. The core loop mixes short tasks like cleaning or computer work with long term goals such as buying buildings that generate commission income when other players use them.

Gameplay centers on jobs and exploration. You can work at computers, in laboratories, or in the CEO office to earn cash. Alternatively, scavenge food and money from trash, clean filthy streets to gain income, or take risks to steal or kill wealthy characters for quick rewards. Buy houses, nightclubs, shops, and other buildings to unlock passive revenue. Buildings earn you commission when other players use them, so location and popularity matter.

Character progression relies on practical skills. Upgrade Computer skill to increase computer earnings, Broom skill to clean faster, Negotiation to lower costs and raise commissions, Strength and Speed to improve combat and movement, Bag to carry more items, and Research to boost lab income and find better scavenged items. Vital gauges for Mood, Food, Sleep, and Toilet change over time and affect performance. Manage those needs by eating, sleeping, and using facilities around the city.

Nend.io also features a succession system. When your character ages and dies, you can buy a baby successor to inherit some benefits. Prepare a cradle, buy bottles and toys, and your new character will start with better gauges. The social layer includes dancing in clubs, visiting hairdressers, buying clothes, and cooperating or competing with other players. The game's pixel art and simple controls make it inviting for quick sessions or long role play.
