During a match you earn Gold by killing enemy heroes and minions and gain Experience to level up. Use Gold to buy items at your spawn to shape your hero build. Map elements such as Gold Runes, Buff Runes, and Brushes change positioning and timing. Gold Runes spawn early to reward lane control and Buff Runes spawn every minute to swing fights. The game supports 1v1 ranked, 2v2 ranked, and Practice matches. Kingdom of Pixels is in Pre-Alpha so players can expect active development and frequent updates.
