Gunwars is a quick, competitive 2D arena shooter built for local two player matches in your browser. Two players share a screen and face off as Red and Blue. Move around the compact arena, avoid enemy fire, and collect passing balloons to swap weapons. Each weapon behaves differently so timing and positioning matter.

The objective is simple: hit your opponent 20 times to win. Players use separate movement controls and a fire button to shoot. Balloons float across the top of the screen carrying new guns, ammo or special effects. Rounds are short, highly replayable, and focused on skill, quick reactions, and smart use of pickups.

Gunwars appeals to players who like fast head-to-head matches, local multiplayer competition, and straightforward arcade action. The simple rules make it easy to pick up, while weapon variety and map movement create room for strategy and comebacks.
