Dots II is a modern browser version of the classic Dots and Boxes pencil game. Players take turns drawing a single horizontal or vertical line between two adjacent dots. When a player closes the fourth side of a box they claim that box and earn one point. The same player moves again after capturing a box. The match ends when all boxes are completed and the player with the most boxes wins.

Gameplay stays simple but deep. Small moves can create long chains that let one player score multiple boxes in a row. Smart play focuses on forcing your opponent to open chains while saving opportunities to capture them. Dots II supports quick rounds for casual play and longer matches for strategic competition. The interface is clean and easy to use so you can focus on tactics and outscore your opponent.

  • Objective: Draw lines to complete boxes and score points.
  • Turn rules: One line per turn unless you complete a box, then you play again.
  • End condition: All boxes completed. Highest score wins.
