Brown floor tiles become lava after a few seconds when stepped on, so you must keep moving and plan safe routes.
Collect the blue ball power-up to become immune for a few seconds. Use your shooter to put out small fires and freeze brown floors to create temporary safe zones. Frozen floors slow down wolves; when a wolf stops after touching frozen ground, touching that wolf grants the same temporary immunity as the blue ball. Large fires and some wolves resist direct freezing, so you must use movement and timing to avoid them. The blue ball respawns in place after a short delay to let you plan your next move. You can optionally restart a level, but restarting costs 1 life, so use it only when needed.
