Backpack Hero is an inventory management roguelike that turns your bag into a battlefield. Instead of simple equipment menus, every item you pick up must fit inside a limited bag space. The position and orientation of each item change how it works. Move items to amplify effects, unlock combos, and shape your strategy during each dungeon run.
Each run sends you through procedurally generated rooms filled with enemies, traps, and loot. Combat resolves around your bag setup: shields block lines, weapons strike nearby targets, and consumables trigger area effects depending on placement. You collect rare items, upgrade gear, and trade risk for reward as you push deeper into the dungeon.
The game emphasizes clever inventory puzzles and fast decisions. Permadeath and run-based progression keep each play session tense and replayable. Players who enjoy tactical thinking and resource management will find the mix of roguelike challenge and spatial puzzles both fresh and rewarding.
