Nine Mens Morris is a classic two player board game of placement and movement. Each player has nine pieces. The game has three phases: placing pieces, moving pieces to adjacent points, and flying when a player has only three pieces left. The main objective is to form a mill, a straight line of three pieces along board lines. Each time you create a mill you remove one of your opponent's pieces. You win by reducing the opponent to two pieces or by blocking all their legal moves.
The online version offers quick matches against an adjustable AI or local play with a friend on the same device. The board shows three concentric squares connected by lines and 24 valid positions. Play is turn based and easy to learn but hard to master. Strategy matters more than speed. Anticipate opponent moves, protect key points, and use mills to control the board. This game is ideal for kids and adults who enjoy brain games and classic board puzzles.
