CheckersHD brings the classic 8x8 board checkers experience to your browser with clean HD visuals and simple controls. The goal is to capture all of the opponent's pieces or block every legal move. Each player moves diagonally on dark squares, and pieces capture by jumping over an opponent piece. When a piece reaches the far side of the board it becomes a king and gains the ability to move backward as well as forward. Matches are fast and strategic, combining planning and tactical jumps.
