Among Impostor is a fast social deduction game set on a stranded spaceship. Between 4 and 15 players join each match as Crewmates or as a single Impostor. Crewmates work together to complete repair tasks across the ship while watching for suspicious behavior. The Impostor blends in, uses sabotage to create chaos, and tries to eliminate Crewmates without getting caught.
Gameplay mixes simple action with tense deduction. Players move through a 3D ship environment, complete point and click or mini tasks, call emergency meetings when they suspect someone, and vote to eject a suspect. The Impostor interrupts the crew by sabotaging systems to force repairs, split the group, or mask kills. Matches are short, social, and packed with bluffing, teamwork, and sudden reveals. Play online or over local WiFi with friends or strangers for quick rounds and instant replay value.
Matches reward observation, communication, and timing. Crewmates win by finishing all tasks or by identifying and voting out the Impostor. The Impostor wins by reducing the number of Crewmates until they can no longer be stopped. The game is accessible in the browser, requires low system resources, and suits casual sessions and party play.
